The Glamaphones - Leather and Lace (Palmerston North)
Leather and Lace is a journey through the modern musical era, the synthesis of hard and soft; from smoke-filled cabaret dens to glam rock stadiums.
The Glamaphones will take you on a ride, exploring the diversity across pop music as a reflection of the diversity within our community. There will be tender moments and there will be elements of extreme extroversion. And underlying all this is the ongoing theme of struggle for empowerment through song.

Attended by over 500 Qwire enthusiasts the beautiful Llewellyn Hall rang out with sweet harmonies and applause. Our band of musicians led by Qwire’s accompanist Jessica Stewart added style and beat to the event. Adrienne Francis from ABC Radio Canberra MC’d the event adding a light professional touch. It was a truly inspirational concert - the first large indoor event since COVID-19 struck our shores.
